CIO & Treasury Asia Middle Office - BAU Projects & Change Management - Associate – HK

Location: HK-Hong Kong-Hong Kong-One Island East / 31141

JPMorgan Chase & Co is a global financial institution comprising of seven main businesses - Investment Bank, Retail Financial Services, Card Services, Commercial Banking, Treasury & Security Services, Asset Management and Corporate. The Chief Investment Office and Treasury (TCIO) division sits within Corporate and manages the structural risk of JPM Chase across a wide range of asset classes and the funding and Liquidity Management of the various Legal entities which JPM use to conduct their business across the region. TCIO is mainly located in the major hubs - New York, London and Hong Kong and manages its own infrastructure including Market Risk, Middle Office, Finance and Technology.


The TCIO Middle Office Projects team makes up a part of the Middle Office and is responsible for managing all projects impacting the Middle Office.


Responsibilities include:

  • Manage global project demand & prioritization for Middle Office

  • Evaluate business objectives and analyse high level business requirements that require new systems or existing system enhancements

  • Close partnership with technology service providers and business users to set system strategy and  project direction, identify cost/benefit impact, and agree on project timelines and priorities

  • Establish project governance framework, including project planning, organising governance forums to manage stakeholder expectations

  • Facilitate the success of programs by proper resource allocation & ensure appropriate coverage from all stakeholders

  • Ensure cross-impacts are called out with sufficient advance notice

  • Track issues, mitigate risks and resolve conflicts between programs and projects

  • Ensure that all stakeholder communications are managed in a timely manner

  • Manage business communications and monthly update to senior stakeholders

  • Provide regular project updates   to CIO & GT mgt team

  • Point of contact for NBIAs relating to MO workflow

  • Coordinate Corporate GTI initiatives

  • Partner with regional Operations (MO and BO) on operation project initiatives

  • Participate and represent the MO on firm wide forums for regulatory change



  • 3-6 years’ experience in Fixed Income and/or Money Market products working with traders and operations in managing business requirements and coordinating technology solutions with at least 2 years of PMO experience managing multiple projects, resourcing and finances

  • Ability to communicate effectively at many levels of the organization including senior management

  • Stakeholder expectation management and negotiation skills to achieve agreement across many stakeholders and technology teams

  • Excellent and proven communication skills, both written and verbal in English
