Key Accountabilities/ Major Responsibilities:

  • Act as single point of contact for operations for process improvement (i.e. reduction of manual processing) and new platform implementations in Asia;
  •  Developing strong relationships within global C&FS technology;
  • Lead the implementation for new platform deployment within the region Asia Ex;
  • Leads in planning, designing, enhancement and support of the current client data delivery solutions;
  • Collating feedback of platform improvements through the product development lifecycle and working with offshore technology teams; and
  • Support the project management process; includes co-ordination of resources, priorities, issues and risks, scheduling, and stakeholder communication.

Team Interaction

  • Establish and maintain productive working relationships with the business aligned client teams and representatives from each of the clients;
  • Generally this project will have a global mix of SME analyst team members and other resources over which the position does not have day-to-day accountability.  Therefore, in many instances, the position will be operating with a ‘virtual team”;
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with the various teams involved in the relevant projects; and
  • Ensuring coordination across the various teams including Operations, Technology, Sales, Relationship Management, Product and Client Service is critical.

Qualifications

Qualifications

 

Must have the following:

 

  • Bachelor Degree;
  • Experience in delivering complex technology and data solution projects in financial services industry;
  • Solid understanding of the trade lifecycle functions including affirmation processing, trade capture, analytics, settlements, accounting and cash management;
  • Proven track record in process improvement initiatives and delivery in a banking/finance environment;
  • Strong end to end ownership, governance, controls, risks and dependency management;
  • Ability to work both independently, taking clear ownership for delivery, and as part of a team. Self motivated.  Proven history of rapidly coming up to speed quickly and being effective

 

Nice to haves:

  • Cross product data structure for the Accounting, Custody, Securities Lending and OTC derivatives products;
  • Awareness of regulatory, industry & infrastructure developments in APAC; and
  • Previous experience of delivery within client experience / integration initiatives.
