The APAC social media team is part of the APAC Marketing Organisation, working closely with the wider marketing team, business, investment and product teams to formulate and execute digital and social media strategy.
The Head of Social Media will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategy alongside broader strategic digital marketing responsibilities. S/he will manage the content production process, leveraging available market, investment, retirement and product related content within the organisation and tailoring them for different audience across digital and social media platforms. Metrics shall be created to track impact and effectiveness of the content.
This role should possess a working knowledge of the investment / asset management industries and today’s digital- and social-media space. S/he should also have a strong track record of collaboration with partners from the wider marketing team, business, investment and product teams.
An objective of this role is to raise social media’s profile and influence as a platform to engage our clients, financial advisors and investors, and to reinforce awareness of and consideration of our brand through dissemination of compelling and differentiated content and thought leadership.
Bachelor degree or higher in Marketing or equivalent preferred
10+ years of experience in digital and/or social media marketing covering key social platforms. Experience in the financial services industry or with top-notched brands strong in the subject is preferred
Strong marketing sense with ability to integrate digital and social media strategy into overarching marketing strategy
Good knowledge of market landscape and behavior of client advisors and investors in Asia
Passion for and fluency in prevailing and emerging web technologies, social platforms, digital media and content marketing
Ability to strengthen the brand and digital efforts by working with content producers and marketing managers to re-write and re-develop digital copy, including engaging articles, teasers and headlines
Lead innovation in our e-content strategy, messaging, and distribution approach to drive effective and efficient audience targeting/reach, platform usage, engagement, and social media buys across social media platform
Ability to articulate social media strategy and prove effective client engagement that leads to greater business value with use of data and statistics
Partner closely with the wider marketing team to manage the social media editorial calendar, translate business and marketing priorities into social-media campaigns, and deliver on established social KPIs
Strong project management skills and ability to work efficiently in a deadline-oriented fast-paced team environment
Highly flexible; comfortable working with ambiguity, frequently changing deadlines and minimal supervision
Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills
