Asia Pacific Human Resources Business Manager, Executive Director, Hong Kong
Location: HK-Hong Kong-Hong Kong-Chater House / 03761
Reporting to the HR CFO, and providing direct support to the HR Regional Executive for the Asia Pacific region, the successful applicant will be an energetic individual with a strong financial and reporting background, capable of multi-tasking and analytically reviewing processes to identify improvements, with good time management, communication and presentation skills. This is a demanding role and requires a talented individual that is able to handle a heavy workload and partner well with other departments in a collaborative way.
The primary role of this position is to provide senior management with pertinent and timely analysis of the financial performance of Asia Pacific HR for all Lines of Businesses in the region.
This role will also provide dedicated financial and business advisory support to the HR Executive for Asia Pacific and the HR Global Business Manager, and manage the monthly Planning, Reporting & Analysis (PRA) process including reporting, budgeting, forecasting and related tasks. An additional key responsibility will be to provide business advisory support for various growth initiatives of the Firm including regional expansion, support for new business ventures, and integration of acquired organizations.
Partner with the various Asia Pacific HR Country heads to ensure appropriate development of meaningful, value add MIS, and provide regular examination, interpretation, explanation and implication of business results
Coordinate information sharing, best practices and business-specific updates with other regional HR teams
Ensure adherence to various HR operating standards, protocols and policies
Performance reporting & analysis for HR which includes all related monthly and periodic performance reports, monthly forecasting, budgeting, regional reporting, FX analysis, allocations & ad-hoc request
Oversee the financial management structure - GL accounts & cost centers
Identifying risks and opportunities for each market/Country
Assess the impact of investment decisions
Planning and reporting analysis and support for various HR Country Leaders
High level of interaction with the non Asia-Pacific HR Executives and finance teams
Relevant work experience
Proven skills in financial analysis and reporting
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Proven track record of dealing with and managing expectations of senior management
Ability to deal with multiple tasks and requests in a fast paced and evolving environment, coupled with prioritization and delivery
Ability to interact and deal with all levels of personnel
Ability to see the bigger picture while understanding the detail, ability to provide concise direction and analytics
Willingness to contribute in a team environment
Experienced user of Microsoft applications - Advanced Excel, PowerPoint
Previous experience with JPMC financial systems a plus
