Job Description
 As an Identity and Access Management (I&AM) Regional Lead, you will provide I&AM leadership for all Lines of Business (LOBs) and locations within the APAC region. This responsibility includes providing first line I&AM consulting to the application development, infrastructure and LOB organizations within region, communicating with the business and technical contacts to understand the I&AM challenges, facilitate prioritization process, and drive those priorities into the appropriate LOB I&AM Leads or Global Identity & Access Management (GIAM) Leads. 

In addition, you will work with businesses, AD & technology areas to deploy GIAM solutions to address control gaps as well as work with country leads, legal, control and compliance teams to formulate responses to internal, external, regulators for I&AM issues within region. 
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Planning, communicating, coordinating with Global Identity and Access Management teams
  • Planning, communicating, coordinating with Regional LOB Identity and Access Management teams
  • Understanding regional challenges, including regulatory requirements, and issues in I&AM domain and translating them into requirement specifications / input for GIAM initiatives and strategy
  • Representing region on firmwide I&AM governance forums and regulatory / audit reviews if required
  • Setting regional direction, priorities, building consensus among all regional stakeholders, and driving the I&AM agenda within region. This includes driving a regional forum consisting of I&AM leads for each business, and key LOB, technology and controls people in the region
  • Acting as the information conduit / global access standards champion raising awareness about the GIAM initiatives and promoting best practice in the region
  • Driving regional I&AM projects as part of the local versus global controls agenda ensuring the successful controls deployment across APAC and the uplifting of our IAM controls environment
  • Supporting the formulation of regional access Key Control Indicators enabling regional management to maintain a rigorous control environment
  • Providing local / regional leadership and community for core GIAM staff in APAC
  • Provide direct support to the APAC Technology Control Officers as it pertains to priorities in the access management space for the region
  • Ensuring appropriate resources are aligned within region to applicable programs and projects.
  • Local oversight of GIAM application developers.


Preferable Experience:
  • +7 years Project Management experience, the majority of which should be in a Technology function within the financial industry.
  • Strong Identity and Access Management risk and controls experience, preferably within a distributed environment / large organization.
  • Able to manage multiple projects with multiple business and technology stakeholders
  • Highly organized and detail oriented with a structured and analytical approach to problem solving
  • Strong experience in implementation planning
  • Proven delivery track record and operational execution
  • Experience of working in an influential role with the ability to lead and partner teams across functions, including experienced of working within a virtual team environment
  • Establish and drive a culture focused on the pro-active awareness and improvement of the Identity & Access Management risk and control environment.
  • Change agent, is a consensus builder and thought leader that can drive for improvement and efficiency, thinks out of the box and is creative
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain senior level stakeholder relationships
  • Experience of working with regulators and internal / external auditors.
  • Experience of both in-house and third party technology solutions.
  • Self-directed: be an independent contributor who is comfortable working in a self-directed environment
  • Motivated - displays drive, energy and enthusiasm.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Background in IT Risk and Security
  • PMP, Prince 2 or similar certification a plus
  • Project Management tools – MS Project, JPMC specific a plus - Business Case, Clarity, WRM and/or others
  • Strong MS Office skills (particularly strong MS Project, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint  and SharePoint )
  • Documentation - ability to produce clear, concise, relevant and accurate documentation based on captured requirements and information gathered from stakeholders and subject matter experts
  • Bachelor degree – Masters or other postgraduate degree a plus
