SALES MANAGER / BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – European multinational forwarder / logistics service
Location: Hong Kong
European multinational forwarder and logistics service provider in air, sea and road services with 120 staff in Hong Kong office - looking for a SALES / BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – with details as follows :
- Tertiary education in any disciplines
- Studies in logistics, Transportation industry or similar qualification will be an advantage
- 6 to 10 years sales / business development experience in freight forwarding
- Experience multi-national forwarders with proven success will be an advantage
- High energy and results-oriented
- Strong strategic planning & execution skills with performance track record
- Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin
- Self-motivated, proactive, presentable with excellent communication skills;
- Reporting to the General Manager of the Hong Kong Office
- Responsible for developing air and sea freight services business in potential targeted and existing accounts
- Develop new business opportunities and enhance customer relationships in respective countries
- Keep concrete business relationship with existing customers
- Responsible for driving aggressive growth & to achieve revenue / volume target
- Manage client activities including calls, sales presentations, sales pipeline and sales solutions
- Provide up-to-dated market information to management for business developmentplanning
- Participate sales & marketing activities to promote and increase company exposure in the market
- Travelling occasionally is required
- 13 months salary plus performance bonus
- Annual leave : 16 days
