Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Senior Director, Transformation Lead, Regulatory Operations.
POSITION SUMMARY: A newly created 24-month position to provide strategic device regulatory input in to the design and implementation of End-to-End (E2E) solutions for Knowledge Management, Labeling Management and Dossier Management across the J&J Enterprise (i.e., Consumer, Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices).  Works with key partners, suppliers and customers to lead the device input for the transformation initiatives, aligning with the parallel JJRO value streams (i.e., Labeling, Dossier Management and Data Standards & Sourcing) and providing input to other relevant value streams (e.g. Regulatory Information Management (RIM), External Partnerships, Talent Management).
This position is primarily accountable for designing and implementing the E2E solution through:
  • Supporting the overall business case by delivering a solution that meets the needs of JJRO and J&J strategy
  • Identifying, managing, and, as needed, escalating challenges and opportunities to value stream leads
  • Identifying and recommending opportunities to optimize costs and benefits
  • Liaising with value stream transformation leads to identify and address interdependencies across work streams
  • Actioning Knowledge Management, Labeling and Dossier Management Value stream head feedback and developing value stream lessons learned
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide key strategic input to the future strategic vision for the JJRO value streams
  • Partner with the Value Stream Heads to identify and communicate with key relevant stakeholders, ensuring engagement, alignment and relevant support/resources
  • Lead value stream workshops with Sector subject matter experts to develop detailed actions and identify opportunities for pilots.  Run pilots and utilize plan, do, study, act methodology to refine solutions
  • Partner with the Value Stream Heads to ensure solutions deliver the committed business case and identify additional potential benefits/improvement opportunities.  Ensure these are appropriately scoped into the project
  • Work with assigned project management resources and transformation office to ensure effective planning, implementation and change management of initiatives.  Ensure consistency across processes and tools and demonstrate a standard of excellence in management of initiatives
  • Partner with the Value Stream Heads to identify future organizational design and external partnering opportunities and work with the External Partnerships Lead to identify appropriate actions
  • Partner with Transformation Leads to identify and manage relevant interdependencies with the Dossier Management, Labeling, Data Standards & Sourcing, and RIM value streams
  • Partner with Change Management and Talent Management value stream leads to identify and manage culture and talent development needs
  • Partner with the Regional Partnerships Lead to ensure requirements and co-dependencies with Regional initiatives are considered and built into the plan
  • Communicate with sponsors, leadership and business partners within and outside of JJRO on project status and requirements
  • Network with other experts to exchange learning and good practices
