Account Manager, Global Service Team / Strategic Risk Solutions

Location: Taikoo Shing

Job Description:

  • Develop and maintain a strong relationship with the client and the market
  • Effectively manage client portfolios; reviews contracts as required and agree client service requirements and negotiate JLT fees where appropriate
  • Provide cross-class account handling; deliver solutions to respond to clients' needs and industry capabilities
  • Identify and develop key prospect relationships and maximise cross selling opportunities where possible
  • Develop and implement new business and business development strategies
  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise through knowledge sharing with internal colleagues and external clients
  • Create and maintain records of negotiations, presentations and communication with overseas placing broker, JLT network, insurers and clients
  • Provide accurate advice on risk and insurance issues

Requirement:

  • At least 4 years’ experience in insurance preferably in broking firm
  • Experience in managing global insurance programme is a definite advantage
  • FLMI / CLU / ACII / ANZIIF (Snr Assoc) qualified or IIQE examinations passed
  • Good PC skills including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good communication skills and be a team player
  • Willing to travel overseas and be flexible to work outside of office hours to work with overseas partner.
  • Good spoken and written English, Mandarin and Cantonese
