System Services Representative

Location: Hong Kong

Job Descriptions
  • This role is an individual contributor responsible for on-site installation, maintenance and repair of EMC storage products
  • Primary technical interface to clients for the coordination of hardware and/or software support and delivery of operational services as required by the client.
  • Advise clients of preventive maintenance, configuration, operation and environmental factors which may impact product performance or impair client's IT operation.
  • Perform services activities such as systems assurance, installation planning, account management, system-level problem determination, discontinuance and relocation
  • Provide field support and skill transfer to other SSRs on EMC storage products
  • Accountable to ensure a high level of client satisfaction with service delivery, technical support and operational services for the client account(s)
  • Responsible for the technical value relationship to protect revenue base and identify new services opportunities.
  • Oncall/standby is required
  • Spare parts inventory assessment
Requirement
  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science related disciplines or above.
  • At least 5 years experienced on h/w maintenance for EMC storage products, relevant EMC certifications are definitely advantage
  • Solid knowledge and track record on supporting maintenance work for Clariion, Data Domain System, Symmetrix VMAX, VTLs and Centera independently. Maintenance work includes system health check, problem determination, break fix, data collection and 1st level analysis, machine installation and configuration/setup and firmware/fix installation, etc.
  • Hardworking and willing to work under pressure and independently.
  • Self-motivated, strong problem solving and analytical skills
  •  Basic knowledge on Project Management
  • Good sense on managing customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Good written and spoken English and Cantonese. Mandarin would be an advantage
  • Immediate available is preferred
