Location: Hong Kong

As a GBS technical consultant, you will have the chance to get in touch with a variety of solution covering cloud computing, cognitive computing, etc. You will learn how to apply different technologies to design and resolve a business problem for different industry sectors including financial services, public services, retail and distributions, telecommunications, etc. In addition, you will also gain invaluable experiences in areas such as system implementation, client relationship management, project management, consulting and business case development.
 
For your personal growth, you will be offered a series of professional training programs and mentoring, allowing you to quickly develop your technical skills, solutioning skill, different architectural practices in multiple solution domains. Other than technical excellence, your consulting skills, presentation, communication, and leadership skills are essential to be developed. This training will continue throughout your career with GBS, ensuring your skill set remains at the forefront of latest technology trends and to equip you to be our next generation leaders in IBM.
Key attributes we are looking for:
•    Undergraduate or Postgraduate majoring in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent, graduated in Year 2016 or graduating in Year 2017;
•    Have not worked in a full-time capacity for more than two years after graduation (Undergraduate or Postgraduate);
•    With passion in IT consulting career;
•    With good interest or knowledge in emerging technologies such as Cloud Computing, Cognitive Computing, Mobile, etc.;
•    A proactive fast-learning team player who is willing takes up the challenges in a fast-paced and result-driven working environment;
•    Initiative to actively seek new knowledge and improve skills;
•    Possess fundamental technical knowledge (e.g. Web / Mobile technologies, Java / Modern JavaScript etc.);
•    Strong analytical skills and innovative approach to problems;
•    Aggressive, resourceful, and have a strong sense of responsibility and commitment;
•    Willing to travel and enjoy working in multi-cultural environment;
•    Strong communication, presentation and client management skills. Possess an excellent command of written & spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin will be an advantage;
