We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Vice President, Insurance Sales
Principal responsibilities
  • Work closely with Commercial Banking Portfolio or Relationship Managers to identify customer needs with due regard to customer business activities and the range of commercial insurance solutions available
  • Proactively understand our customers’ needs to identify any new potential requirements and better development of the existing portfolio
  • Review the Bank's development objectives whilst ensuring customer needs are met
  • Work closely with HSBC Insurance, Commercial Banking broking team to ensure customer needs are met
  • Enhance service levels by resolving customer complaints and responsively acting on special requests in order to secure customer satisfaction
  • Assist Senior Manager in reviewing progress against division goals and business planning to achieve business objectives and deepen business relationship
  • Act at all times within the compliance and regulatory boundaries of insurance agency

Qualifications

Requirements
  • University degree or equivalent with solid work experience in the insurance business
  • Relevant insurance licenses are required such as Insurance Intermediary Qualifying Examination Paper 1, 2, 3
  • Comprehensive technical and product knowledge of employee benefits products
  • Sound understanding of the insurance requirements of customers from different industries
  • Excellent negotiation and customer relationship skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in both English and Cantonese, with fluency in Putonghua is an advantage
  • Good computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
