Global Trade and Receivables Finance comprises over 4,500 people across more than 60 countries, helping suppliers and buyers with their export and import finance needs. Trade is where HSBC began in 1865, when we financed commerce between Europe, North America and Asia.
We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Transaction Services Manager Global Trade and Receivables Finance.
Principal responsibilities
  • Articulate the Global Trade and Receivables Finance Transaction Services target operating model and Operations strategies that translate into standardized and industrialized operational processes for Global Trade and Receivables Finance Transaction services are successfully implemented across the Group.
  • Support key organizational strategic initiatives to help in operationalising the product development
  • Contribute to the planning, formulation and implementation of strategies to grow and manage the trade business
  • Ensure positive client experiences through support, trade advice and best practices in relation to Global Trade and Receivables Finance transactions
  • Contribute to the development, implementation and maintenance of Global Trade and Receivables Finance management information, analysis and reporting framework

Qualifications

Requirements
  • University degree with significant banking experience
  • Prior HSBC work experience is an advantage particularly in Global Trade and Receivables Finance products
  • Strong project management skills with analytical ability, comfortable to articulate financial analysis
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communications
  • Prior experience in managing services teams will be a definite advantage.
The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting. Subject to local laws, this will require the individual to satisfactorily pass a series of additional checks as part of the recruitment process and on an ongoing basis, if appointed to the role.
