Transaction Manager - HSBC Securities Services

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Transaction Manager.
Principal responsibilities
  • Responsible of review and negotiation of documentation related to Loan Facility transactions including but not limited to Syndicated Facilities, Project and Export Finance, Islamic Financing and Bond transactions Liaising with arrangers and lenders, external counsel and internal Group Legal where required as well as working closely with the Client Services, Business Development and Risk teams
  • Proactively working with clients and peers to ensure a smooth and high standard of service delivery
  • Responsible for the onboarding of new transactions and effecting a successful handover to Client Services for post signing administration
  • Analyse post closing matters and recommend best course of action to internal stake holders and committees

Qualifications

Requirements
  • Existing experience as a Transaction Manager or Client Services Manager ideally with operational knowledge will be desirable
  • Existing credit experience and understanding of banking operations is desirable
  • Sufficient corporate trust and loan agency experience to ensure the Group is not exposed to any operational or reputational risks
  • Exposure to syndicated facilities, project and export finance, Islamic finance, conventional debt, medium term note programmes, structured finance and escrow transactions is desirable
  • Good communicator, both written and verbally
  • Able to work in a pressurised environment and manage priorities effectively
  • Strong time management and negotiation skills
The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting. Subject to local laws, this will require the individual to satisfactorily pass a series of additional checks as part of the recruitment process and on an ongoing basis, if appointed to the role.
