Trade Middle Office Assistant - Global Trade and Receivables Finance

Global Trade and Receivables Finance comprises over 4,500 people across more than 60 countries, helping suppliers and buyers with their export and import finance needs. Trade is where HSBC began in 1865, when we financed commerce between Europe, North America and Asia.
We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Trade Middle Office Assistant.
Process all import and export transactions such as the issuance of documentary credits, shipping guarantees, import loans, export documentary credits advice, documentary credits amendments and documentary credits confirmations
Provide efficient and friendly service to customers by handling their enquiries regarding import and export transactions and services
Verify import and export documentary credits and non-documentary credits bills and handle bill payments
Anticipate and meet the needs of customers through collaborating with other teams
Diploma qualification or above
Solid experience in trade services or experience in Bank guarantee and standby Documentary Credit would be an advantage.
Good command of written and verbal English, Cantonese and ideally Putonghua
Detail conscious approach with the ability to work effectively independently
Proficiency in typing along with computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
Fresh graduates with intern experience in banking are welcomed
