Global Risk is a thriving and expert risk management function supporting HSBC globally with all aspects of risk management. The team actively manages a varied and dynamic range of risk types, including security, fraud, information security, contingency, geopolitical, operational, credit, pension, insurance, financial crime and regulatory compliance, market and reputation risks. All parts of the Global Risk team use their skills, insight and integrity to handle established threats and those they see emerging, acting to protect and enable HSBC to deliver sustainable growth.
We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Service Technician.
Principal responsibilities
  • To conduct site survey for security systems design.
  • Coordinate, monitor and inspect installation works done by security contractors.
  • Conduct in house training for security systems users.
  • Technical evaluation of new security products
  • Conduct security system modification works.
  • Conduct routine check the security systems, and participate in various special projects.
  • Copy digital video images from security camera systems in concerned premises for investigation purpose.
  • Conduct emergency repair for security systems, investigate and report the cause of the problem.


  • To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements
  • Certificate or above in Electronic, Computer or Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent.
  • Knowledge and experience in installation and maintenance of electronic security systems, such as Closed Circuit Television, intruder alarm, access control, car park, computer and radio system etc.
  • Experience in large scale security systems installation and maintenance will be an advantage
  • Have a good command of written and spoken English.
