Senior Product Manager - Global Payments and Cash Management

Location: Asia Pacific-Hong Kong-Hong Kong Island-Central

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Product Manager.

Principal responsibilities

  • Develops both product management and product enhancement strategies and plans for the assigned product set, in alignment with Payments and Cash Management’s overall strategy, in order to drive customer acquisition and retention and business growth.
  • Ensures plans are properly implemented and verifiably tracks customer and business growth to expectations.
  • Develops budgets and plans. 
  • Tracks numbers to plan and proactively initiates actions to remedy any deviations.
  • Develops innovations and enhancements through proper business case and implementation plan development working with various teams in Payments and Cash Management, operations, Technology Services, Relationship Managers, Legal, Audit, Human Resources, Compliance, etc to cater for new customer requirements and market opportunities or threats identified through assessing existing product viability, market research, and competitor analysis.
  • Supports Sales and Client Management teams on customer deals
  • Provide training to stakeholder community  on product features, benefits, strategies, and on-going developments
  • Represents and deputizes for Team Manager in assigned areas and provides recommendation to establishment of new business practices, procedures, and guidelines within Payments and Cash Management, the bank, as well as the broader market.
  • Represents Payments and Cash Management in forums with other parts of the bank as well as with external parties
  • Leads and motivates junior product managers and supports team head in performance appraisals strategic planning, budgeting control and departmental procedures


  • University Graduate in relevant disciplines with significant years of work experience as a Product Manager
  • Proven experience in product management, including commercialisation and development of products, technology and operations, process improvements or project management disciplines.
  • Practical knowledge in solutions and implementations.
  • Ability to provide coaching to other junior product managers across the region.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret customer or operational needs and develop integrated, creative solutions to complex problems.
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in English is expected.
  • Proficiency in another Asian language is an advantage
