We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Premier and Wealth Proposition Manager, Group Premier.
Principal responsibilities
  • Reporting to the Head of Premier and Wealth Propositions, responsible for driving value and supporting delivery of an industry leading differentiated proposition for high net worth individuals with minimum one million United States dollar net investable assets.
  • Work on initiatives to develop and manage this proposition, increasing overall customer value through fact based understanding of high net worth client needs, value drivers, revenue pools and costs to service
  • Drive close collaboration with key wealth markets to embed the proposition and expand client growth and asset growth for HSBC.
  • Support creation of the proposition and strategy story in such a way that drives business and growth, and is managed to the advantage of the smooth implementation of all propositional changes.
  • Be responsible for work globally around the retention of more customers, across proposition, liaising and driving resource to be able to satisfy the fulfilment of this key strategy.
  • Responsible for supporting the integration between stakeholders across the matrix, geographic and business or functional aspects of the Retail Banking and Wealth Management franchise.
  • Responsible for ensuring the implementation of specific strategic goals in conjunction with stakeholders, delivering a profitable and sustainable business where services are complementary and not competing. Retail Banking and Wealth Management
  • Supports the implementation of governance structures and standards across this important wealth proposition. Supports the implementation of functional policies and standards.
  • Supports the implementation of Global Standards, Financial Crime Compliance and Risk considerations in an aligned manner within the context of the Retail Banking and Wealth Management strategy through operational practice and planned activity
  • Responsible for operating within specific agreed Service Level Agreements with stakeholders in the design, implementation and remediation of activity. Stakeholders are primarily internal, but may also include regulatory, market, and customer requirements.


  • Bachelor or Masters Qualification in a relevant business discipline such as business administration, marketing, economics
  • Previous experience in wealth management, marketing, or proposition development at a senior level
  • Experience of strategy development, organizational leadership, proposition or product development, commercial management across specific financial product categories and customer segments
  • Experience with multi geography team or product or management of wealth clients or products
  • Proven and deep experience of regional or global product development, strategy development and proposition formation.
  • Strong technical knowledge of retail banking and wealth management business drivers, and market or industry review for strategy formulation. 
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to drive decisions based objectively on data
  • Proven experience delivering new products or products features to the market and delivering commercial results in line with business Operating Plans
  • Able to influence, engage and lead in a positive, inspiring manner
  • Meet the requirement of leadership capability level for role including values level.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English. Cantonese as an ideal
