Global Trade and Receivables Finance comprises over 4,500 people across more than 60 countries, helping suppliers and buyers with their export and import finance needs. Trade is where HSBC began in 1865, when we financed commerce between Europe, North America and Asia.
We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Manager Global Trade and Receivables Finance.
Implement Global Standard initiatives within Services.
Standardization and improvement of operational procedures to drive efficiency and consistency
Ensuring off shoring to Global Service Centre is completed in a structured and timely manner
Drive engagement of countries with Global Service Centre and ensure service metrics meet expectations and Service Level Agreements
Contribute to the planning, formulation and implementation of strategies to grow and manage the trade business
Productivity and capacity management, Service Level Agreement monitoring, client service reviews, complaint and compliments tracking, driving digital usage and skills development across services staff
Drive strategic agenda covering client services, streamlining, off shoring and delivering on Global automation initiatives
This requires the ability to influence outcomes across Asia Pacific sites and across multiple stakeholders in Commercial Banking, Global Service Centre, Global Trade and Receivables Finance
Bachelors degree or equivalent in business, related field or equivalent experience
Significant Global Trade and Receivables Finance banking experience
Strong project management skills with analytical ability, comfortable to articulate financial analysis
Excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communications
Prior experience in managing services teams will be a definite advantage
Prior experience in a regional role will be useful
