Senior Manager Channels and Distribution - Commercial Banking

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Manager Channels and Distribution.
Principal responsibilities
  • Develop and continually evolve an integrated channel strategy encompassing all Commercial Banking channels
  • Develop and drive implementation of all electronic initiatives for the Commercial Banking business
  • Enhance capabilities of Branch Network
  • Develop other automated channels such as Phone banking, self service machines, mobile banking, and migrate routine transactions from Branches to these channels
  • Develop differentiated channel execution plan for both frontline and transactions to best suit the different customer segments
  • Enable customers to interact with the bank through a complete range of online, automated and physical channels that complement each other
  • Roll out and enhance HSBCnet for Corporate and Business Banking Upper segment in the region


  • University degree in relevant disciplines
  • Significant experience in general banking, preferably in managing distribution channels
  • Proven record in driving Distribution Channel initiatives with success
  • Creative approach, with the ability to anticipate challenges and develop innovative solutions
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Proven problem solving skills with ability to consider alternative and lateral solutions
  • Highly developed communication, presentation and influencing skills set.
  • Ability to prioritise and work independently under pressure within a team environment
  • Ability to use strong judgmental skills to identify and resolve complex problems whilst adhering to timelines and quality of output.
  • Good understanding of Commercial Banking business and products
  • Business experience in a variety of roles centered on delivery of high quality customer service
  • Experience in Regional, Global roles will be an advantage
