Senior Client Network Banking Manager - Commercial Banking

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Client Network Banking Manager.
Principal responsibilities
  • Develop bespoke buyer supplier banking programs, leveraging existing HSBC clients to identify new to bank prospects from their supply chain
  • Identify suitable buyers from HSBC Commercial Banking and Global Banking client base
  • Engage with Relationship Managers across Commercial Banking and Global Banking to facilitate client meetings
  • Develop proposal for client, in collaboration with product partners and Relationship Manager
  • Work together with product teams to enhance and tailor customer solution
  • Ensure all necessary endorsements are obtained from wholesale risk, legal, financial crime and regulatory risk
  • Meet with clients, seek input and work collaboratively with multiple functions within the client organization including treasury, finance, supply chain and procurement to refine the program
  • Coordinate Relationship Manager meetings with suppliers across multiple jurisdictions, supporting with tools and pitch materials to ensure Relationship Managers approach suppliers in a consistent, professional manner
  • Feedback learnings to facilitate further development of product and proposition
  • Identify and address existing policies and process that may need changing to deliver future transactions

Qualifications

Requirements
  • Undergraduate or post graduate degree in relevant area
  • Experience in client facing roles either as a Relationship Manager or within a Product team
  • Strong commercial awareness with an understanding of risk and issues motivating clients, relationship managers and senior management internally and externally
  • Excellent influencing skills
  • Able to manage a broad set of stakeholders with different priorities and drive engagement and alignment
  • Experience managing complex deals, across multiple jurisdictions, multiple product lines and multiple stakeholders
  • Broad knowledge of core commercial banking products such as Global Liquidity and Cash Management, Global Markets, Global Trade and Receivable Finance, Credit and Lending
  • Broad international experience is preferred
  • An approach that places the customer first and works backward from there
