We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Risk Quality Assurance Manager.
 
Principal responsibilities
  • The main purposes of this role is to implement regulatory and compliance projects that will help Commercial Banking mitigate financial crime and regulatory and compliance risks.
  • Implement Anti Money Laundering and Financial Crime Risk Management programmes.
  • Conduct portfolio analysis, diagnosing financial crime risks of different sectors, products, business types and country.
  • Assess the impact of regulatory changes and recommend optimal, sustainable and cost effective solutions such as Competition Law and Data Privacy Ordinance.
  • Educate and lead frontline Relationship Manager and Client Due Diligence team on adopting effective measures to ensure compliance.
  • Minimize adverse customer impact in designing and developing any regulatory program and strategy.

Qualification

Requirements
  • Extensive banking experience.
  • Good understanding on the regulatory environment in the financial services sector.
  • Ability to co-ordinate and control a wide range of activities and make decisions independently.
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Well developed interpersonal and influencing skills, including verbal and written communication skills.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to respond quickly to changing priorities
  • Knowledge of Commercial Banking business and products as well as banking operations in Hong Kong.
