We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Regional Head of Regulatory Business Support, Asia Pacific.
Responsible for all operational regulatory activities that impact Global Banking and Markets Client Management Group and ensure operational delivery to the Regulatory Transformation Programme. The role is directly accountable for regulatory operational readiness in Asia Pacific.
Ownership of all regulatory and compliance operational matters for Onboarding and coordinate front to back across functions.
Lead the Global Banking and Markets Client Management Group business in the management of current and emerging regulatory risks inclusive of remediation, client outreach and global alignment of new business processes.
Owner of regulatory activity inclusive of validation of in scope client data and all operational readiness activities. Analyse new regulations and work with change teams and business stakeholders to prepare the business for regulatory change.
Ensure regulatory requirements are globally considered and implemented taking into account impact on current sites and planned expansion locations.
Develop and maintain relationships with regional and local stakeholders to promote a cohesive global function and consistent standards.
Broad overall understanding of the full investment banking value chain
Exceptional organisational, planning and management skills
Good commercial and financial management ability with a proven track record and experience in a shared service model
Good overall knowledge of the Client interface and onboarding and associated processes within an investment bank
A delivery focused mind set
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain global and regional relationships at all levels of the organisation
