Product Specialist, Trader - Global Private Banking

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Product Specialist, Trader.
Principal responsibilities
  • Assist with the efficient operations, ideas generation and profitability of the Funds and Structured Products Solutions Desk, ensure proper and cost effective execution of trades sourced internally and externally.
  • Actively interact with both internal Production Services and Relationship Managers and external clients.
  • Actively follow financial markets developments.
  • Generate trading investment ideas and present to the teams impacted.
  • Actively participate to Investment, Asset Management and Rebates Committees
  • Your key activities are to prepare write ups and allocation proposals.
  • Participate in investor and clients meetings and suggest and improve processes.
  • Assist in ensuriong profitability of the Funds and Structured Products Solutions Desk and performance of the trades.
  • Manage appropriate and identified risks.

Requirements
  • With the ongoing sophistication of financial instruments, high volatility, uncertainties of the markets and finally more demanding stakeholders require proactivity, excellent execution and a sense of urgency in a rapidly changing environment.
  • You will need to master all internal tools and internal applications.
  • Demonstrate solid experience as financial market trader within a complex organisation.
  • Ideally Tertitary qualified and offer appropriate Certified Financial Analyst qualifications.
  • Cooperation with internal and external clients and stakeholders.
  • Take initiative and update with best practice and market intel by partaking as an active member in the various committees.
  • Proactivity, high ethics and values, with a commercial results orientated attitude in a risk sensitive environment will ensure your success.

The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting.
