We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Platform Manager, Business Management Support.
Principal responsibilities
  • Responsible for implementing and operating their internal controls as well as monitoring the ongoing effectiveness of these controls to gain assurance that key controls are operating in line with risk appetite and any regulatory and firm requirements.
  • Provide business analysis and administrative support to Relationship Management Teams for the Hong Kong market 
  • Engage Market Heads and Team Heads in reviewing broader business issues such as performance management, account reviews, and responses to regulatory changes
  • Ensure Know Your Customers principles and procedures are followed by frontline marketing staff and timely escalation of issues to management
  • Ensure activities of the frontline business are managed in an efficient manner and supervised appropriately, including monitoring of frontline transaction execution and account activities or trends
  • Undertake ad hoc tasks and business analysis required by senior management team
  • Platform Manager plays an important role in dealing with daily problem resolution, undertaking ad hoc projects, and being the go to person for relationship manager.

Qualifications

Requirements
  • Solid experience in private banking or financial services and have good understandings with associated regulatory requirements
  • Degree holder is preferrable
  • Strong private banking product knowledge would be an advantage
  • An articulate and strong communicator with well written English. Proficiency in Chinese is an advantage.
  • Capable of working closely with Compliance, Credit, Risks, and Operations to ensure a balanced risk operating environment
  • License Person of Type 1 & Type 4
  • Positive attitude, commercial minded, and be able to prioritize work objectives. Strong problem solving capability is required.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment in decision making practices and clear direction within the established framework
