HSBC Wealth Management leads the Asia-Pacific implementation of our global strategy to deliver world-class solutions to retail and private clients seeking to grow, protect, preserve or transfer their wealth. This involves the development and management of needs-based solutions covering foreign exchange, deposit, investment, insurance and financing products, as well as the provision of suitable market insights and updates, financial planning and advisory services.
We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Manager Mortgage Business Development.
Principal responsibilities
  • Sustain good relationship with property developers, brokers and solicitors
  • Establish close connection within the property industry for referrals of new customers
  • Ensure adherence to governance and compliance requirements Maintain and enhance HSBC's positioning through the planning and execution, active participation and interaction in property activities and projects
  • Impose a centralized control on leads sourced from brokers and improve pipeline management, including conversion rate and drawdown rate
  • Ensure operational arrangement are in line with bank compliance, operational risk and other control guidelines 


  • University graduate with a degree with honors in economics, finance, business or a related discipline
  • Solid knowledge in Mortgage or credit related business
  • Good understanding on Credit Policy Guidelines and Procedures Relevant working experience in business development or financial industry
  • Strong connections with property developers, solicitors and brokers Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Strong verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
