Location: Asia Pacific-Hong Kong-Kowloon-Tai Kok Tsui

Global Internal Audit provides independent, objective assurance to management and the risk and audit committees as to whether the framework of risk management, control, and governance processes, as designed and represented by management, is adequate and functioning.
We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Manager Insurance and Pensions Audit.
Principal responsibilities
  • Understand the Insurance and Pensions business area, business environment and associated risks
  • Learn quickly and apply technical knowledge and experience to new situations and businesses
  • Manage time efficiently and operate under pressure of deadlines
  • Communicate persuasively with senior management, both orally and in writing and have the ability to manage expectations of stakeholders effectively
  • Innovate by identifying practical, realistic and cost effective solutions to address control weaknesses and operational issues
  • Ensure the effective identification and evaluation of material business risks and assessment of the control framework designed to meet them


  • Professional audit or accounting qualifications with strong knowledge and experience within Life Insurance and Pensions
  • Specialist skills and experience in areas such as Wealth Management both Products and Sales, Decision systems, Contact Centre Management, Risk monitoring, Credit Cards both Business and Operations would be advantageous.
  • Strong written and verbal articulation skills, highly engaging and an ability to influence key stakeholders.
  • Analytical skills and the ability to prepare compelling reviews and presentations.
  • Capable of working on own initiative with strong lateral thinking skills whilst working within a team of professionals and contributing to teamwork.
  • Willingness to travel, work under time pressure and meet tight deadlines
