We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Manager and Actuary, Product Management, High Net Worth.
Principal responsibilities
  • Lead the formulation of risk based pricing and product development framework
  • Manage different types of actuarial projects not limited to valuation or pricing
  • Lead new product development through designing new features or products with a focus customer needs and risk and capital implications
  • Lead the product and financial risk management functions of the High Net Worth business
  • Support Hang Seng Insurance and Singapore entity
  • Manage risk metrics on an on-going basis and actively communicate with key stakeholders of the implications and propose corrective actions where applicable
  • Manage the relationships between High Net Worth and the manufacturing entities and Group Insurance
  • Motivate and inspire self and team to achieve the high professional standards in delivering the team’s objectives
  • Meet appropriate individual and company standards of quality, governance and conduct in performing the duties of this role 
  • Develop close working relationships with the Actuarial and Risk Analytics team and other stakeholders
  • Works closely with the business needs and come up with necessary actuarial models


  • University graduate in Actuarial Studies
  • Must possess a qualified actuarial qualification
  • Preferred experience in life insurance industry in Hong Kong
  • Strong experience in actuary, such as pricing, valuation, reporting, asset liability management 
  • Possess strong technical expertise and is able to learn quickly when new products or requirements arise
  • Sound judgment and communications skills
  • Good people management skills
  • Work independently and as part of the team
