This role will appeal to a current Learning and Development professional who currently works within an Insurance environment and wishes to broaden commercial impact and contribution OR a current frontline Insurance leader who is developing expertise in Learning design and delivery and is interested in developing these skills in a more formalized way. The role is open to permanent place or contract or consultancy assignment.
We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Learning and Development Academy Manager.
Manage the maintenance of the life insurance training Curriculum and content
Work with Learning and Development to oversee the life insurance training agenda and delivery of agreed life insurance learning content to relevant parties
Coordinate with other business stakeholders to ensure training curriculum meets regulatory requirements and delivery standard
Accredit and upskill Insurance Specialists in Retail Distribution channel and other channels as appropriate on business training, case sharing and system highlight through professional training events
Conduct market research to better position the training provided to Insurance Specialists to ensure the concepts and content are clear and competitive in the market
A central function to advise the insurance specialist team leaders on their learning duties
Degree holder, major in Finance and Economics is preferable
Recognised insurance qualification, possess professional qualification of Certified Financial Planner and Certified Public Accountant is definitely an advantage
With relevant experience in finance, banking or preferably insurance
Strong knowledge of insurance products and financial planning
Demonstrated experience and track record relating to Learning delivery within fast moving, complex and demanding corporate environment
Demonstrated familiarity with Bank and Insurance regulations, compliance and delivery quality
Substantial front line experience preferred
Strong communication skills with high written and oral proficiency in English
Must be fluent in Cantonese and English with a preference of proficiency in Mandarin
The ideal candidate would possess the requirements mentioned above, however it is recognized that depending on individual background some of the requirements may have to be attained while in role through development.
