We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Head of Product Office
Principal responsibilities
  • Manage Product Committee to ensure all missions are fulfilled and performed diligently as well as efficiently
  • Work closely with all the other INHK Product team, ie Distribution, Strategy, Actuarial, COO office, Legal and Compliance to ensure seamless communication and coordination in order to deliver the Insurance Product strategy
  • Ensure coordination of the VfM policy across different Product team
  • Analysis of products and segment of customers to provide information to support risk and profitability review
  • Conduct Market product intelligence to determine competitive positioning of HSBC insurance product and work with Product teams to determine key improvements and business opportunities
  • Coordination with COO office to ensure delivery of product development and D2 fixes
  • Manage insurance Product Pipeline, Regulatory request and complaints when dealing with products features
  • Manage business risk and compliance to ensure that the first line of defence is structured in its process and controls
  • Coordination with COO office to ensure the delivery of the product development and D2 fixes by managing global projects plan to ensure availability of Resources.
  • Coordination within the Product Team of the implementation of the new Target Operating Model enabled by the New IT platform
  • Manage Annual Operating and Target Plan for the team


  • Degree graduate with multiple years of relevant experience in financial services, particularly insurance or wealth management products retailing to mass affluent via multiple distribution channels
  • Experience in operational risk management and Risk and Compliance
  • Strong leadership skills coupled with a high and demanding benchmark
  • Strong P&L experience with proven record in managing cross-functional teams
  • Results orientated with proven track record, self-directed, change leader, high energy and strong execution capabilities
  • Strategic thinker with strong customer centric and analytical mind set
  • Strong communication skills, good team player and stakeholder management
The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting.
