We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Financial Crime Advisory Officer.
Analyze information for assigned service area to determine if Financial Crime Compliance policies and procedures are being operationally followed
Assess the quality and completeness of customer due diligence information, ensuring consistency with the requirements of the Financial Crime Compliance Policy and Line of Business Procedures
Interpret analysis to assist in understanding where Financial Crime Compliance policies and procedures are approaching risk of noncompliance
Complete straightforward policy interpretations and determine appropriate actions that maintain full Financial Crime Compliance within the service area
Assist in the implementation, in conjunction with the line of business supported, of all Financial Crime Compliance related policies, procedures, systems, and controls as promulgated by the Financial Crime Compliance Program or Policy Office, Financial Crime Compliance Risk Office, Financial Crime Compliance Systems and Data Team, Control Integrity Office, and the Financial Crime Advisory Officer team
Interface frequently with Regional or Business Line Financial Crime Compliance Team to ensure two way communication and information exchange
Give coaching of relevant staff members and provide ongoing training targeted to branch higher risk areas
Ensure ongoing review of the existing process and escalate suggestions for improvement to Regional and Country stakeholders
Degree holder and seasoned retail banking professional with experience in the branch network and with the Customer Due Diligence process
Good understanding of Anti Money Laundering or Sanctions Functional Instruction Manual and relevant guidance
Understanding of the group structure and its corporate culture preferred
Significant experience in the financial services industry
Lateral thinker with an ability to interpret and solve complex issues
Demonstrate ability to lead change, contributing to joining up with the other teams in Risk and Business in Hong Kong
Ability to implement practical, cost effective solutions to complex issues in Hong Kong
Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills
Must be able to speak Bahasa Indonesia and English
