Executive Assistant - Global Trade and Receivables Finance

Location: Asia Pacific-Hong Kong-Hong Kong Island-Central

Global Trade and Receivables Finance comprises over 4,500 people across more than 60 countries, helping suppliers and buyers with their export and import finance needs. Trade is where HSBC began in 1865, when we financed commerce between Europe, North America and Asia.
We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Executive Assistant.
Principal responsibilities
  • Daily schedules, including the arrangement of appointments, meetings, and travel itineraries are arranged and managed for the Global Head of Global Trade and Receivables Finance Services and the Global Services Team. The team supports Regional heads and Country Heads of Services on operational matters including streamlining and transformation of Services. As such, the team needs to manage Global calls and meetings with Regions or countries on an ongoing basis and also travel to these regions or countries.   
  • Provide general secretarial support and manage routine correspondence
  • Organize periodical meetings and conferences
  • Assist on invoice processing and expense claims of the entire team   
  • Maintain effective and efficient communication within the department 

Qualifications

Requirements
  • Previous secretarial experience preferred
  • Experience in financial industry preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work in a multi tasking environment
  • Excellent with computer applications
  • Excellent or strong typing skills
  • Fluency in Cantonese and English, and confidence of working in a multi cultural environment with expatriate coworkers
  • Good interpersonal skills and positive can do attitude
