Digital Planning Specialist - Retail Banking and Wealth Management

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Digital Planning Specialist.
Principal responsibilities
  • The purpose of the role is to lead Planning and Support activity for the Digital Centre of excellence, providing contingency and deputising for the Senior Digital Planning and Support Manager.
  • Accountable for budget management, from recharging to supporting Annual operating plan submissions. Management of third party augmentation model for example Statement of work renewal, including tracking of actual spend versus estimates.
  • Leading delivery of the Digital Orderbook through a variety of governance processes, maintaining superior quality at the lowest cost to the business tracking and reporting on Digital Centre of excellence deliveries.
  • Responsible for the Global service provider planning and reporting activity to senior stakeholders within and external to the Digital Centre of excellence.
  • Leading Digital Centre of excellence budget management and planning annual operating plan
  • Leading the activity required to manage third party relationships by working closely with procurement and legal partners including vendor risk management and contract renewals
  • Operational management of the Digital Centre of excellence, including recruitment tracking and cost effective travel
  • Lead reconciliation, business risk management and audit of live Testing data
  • Ownership for the digital small enhancement process, including reporting and chairing meetings with in-country stakeholders
  • Leading digital delivery reporting for senior stakeholders 
  • Ownership for Global service provider and planning  activity for example Sharepoint management, Risks, Issues and Dependencies, Meeting packs, standards adoption, Resource tracking including Software delivery, Release and Management information
  • Provision of a best in class service for all Digital Centre of excellence customers by supporting customer engagement and governance processes, maintaining service excellence at all times
  • Collecting and distributing project and team performance metrics to improve quality of output, establish Digital Centre of excellence Service levels agreements and Key performance indicators, and achievement against these.
  • Leading portfolio management for all Digital Centre of excellence resources through constant review and sizing of Digital and multi channel initiatives to inform resource profiles and plan forecasts, working with relevant delivery partners
  • Responsible for scenario planning and providing project, resource information on which prioritisation decisions can be made
  • Supporting implementation and ongoing maintenance of resource and planning tools using Clarity, GPDM to underpin an effective operation and accurate recharging.

Qualifications

Requirements
  • Graduate
  • Strong numeracy, accountancy skills and expertise with a working knowledge of analysis tools for example Excel
  • People experience in customer focused organizations, in disciplines such as Digital, or change management, with leadership skills motivating and inspiring others to excel
  • Strong analytical ability and experience with excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work with complex data from a variety of sources, and to operate effectively where data is ambiguous or incomplete
  • Excellent understanding of project methodology, frameworks and best practice
  • Working knowledge of Clarity, GpDM, along with full standard range of MS Office applications such as Powerpoint
  • Subject Matter Expertise of channel, including technical, commercial, market place and customer considerations
  • Experience of operational planning, management, understanding resource requirements in order to fulfill project delivery
  • Strong commercial focus, ability to balance risks versus rewards and maximize cost effectiveness and profitability for the business
  • Strong negotiation and relationship skills to satisfy a wide range of internal and external customers with conflicting priorities
  • Pragmatic decision making skills, with the ability to make clear judgments and understand the implications
  • Highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal, to explain complex or technical issues
  • Innovative with the ability to approach things differently or do different things to deliver goals
  • High levels of resilience and self motivation.
