We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Business Manager, Fixed Income.
Principal responsibilities
  • Accountable to the Regional Head of Fixed Income Trading and Regional Head of Fixed Income Business Management for supporting activities relating to the management of the Regional business.
  • Drive the use of customer insight and intelligence to ensure application of a better understanding of internal and external client needs, ensuring taking full advantage of the Bank’s strong market position and translating that into positive actions.
  • Develop and manage the implementation of all Global Markets operational plans and priorities, to manage delivery of the agreed strategy.
  • Focus on delivering strong commercial goals and objectives at regional and global level, contributing to strategic plans and managing teams to achieve them.
  • Manage business management activities in order to achieve specified service standards, results and outputs.
  • Provide strategic management and ensure teams have the appropriate technical and product linked skills and resources.
  • Ensure that all Global Markets procedures are adhered to and strong working relationships are developed with all other Business Support and functional teams.
  • Liaise with all regulatory parties internal and external as required.


  • Strong ability to engage and influence senior business and functional stakeholders.
  • Strong familiarity with Technology.
  • Experience in internal control matters and managing large change programmes.
  • Strong analytical skills required to perform in depth review of impact to existing business.
  • Previous experience working in Global Markets and demonstrable ability to deliver within a matrix structure.
  • Ability to establish strong relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Ability to challenge constructively and affect change.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
