We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Broker Outsourcing Specialist Officer.
Principal responsibilities
  • Perform all operational processing in our internal trade settlement system another Broker Outsourcing Service supporting system
  • Monitor and facilitate successful trade settlement via all systems and tools available
  • Escalate to supervisor timely, when anticipating or encountering trade settlement related issues
  • Perform broker back office and middle office functions as mutually agreed with clients, including but not limited to settlement instruction pre matching, settlement date instruction matching and follow up with counterparties on settlement instructions
  • Preparing customized reports as per mutually agreed with clients
  • Provide assistance to internal colleagues in addressing and resolving Custody and Clearing Hong Kong related activities, issues and requests
  • Inform clients on settlement status and follow up with clients on problem trade transactions
  • Handling and respond to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Prepare presentation material when required.
  • Be the key point of client contact and accountable to help address clients requests related to the product and services provided by HSBC
  • Prepare internal control, document and reports
  • Assist in the periodic control review and documentation
  • Assist in preparing the documentation related to Broker Outsourcing Service
  • Be aware of the operational risk associated with the role and act in a manner that takes account of operational risk considerations


  • Relevant experience in the industry, preferable in settlements or brokerage
  • Good team player, willing to learn
  • Fluent in English
  • Understand the brokerage business and the risks associated
