Associate Director, Product Specialist Trader - Global Private Banking

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Associate Director, Product Specialist Trader.
Partner with Relationship Manager and Investment Counsellor colleagues in providing optimal investment solutions to clients through clients’ meeting and conference calls
Provide advisory on United States, Europe and Asian equities, answer daily Relationship Managers and Investment Counsellors enquiries, and participate in clients' calls and meetings
Facilitate the formation of equity investment strategy by making presentation that is coherent to the strategist’s macro call
Provide trade ideas that are appropriate to Private Banking clients
Generate equity research ideas that act as backbone to the fabrication of structured products
Assist on Global research stocks whitelabelling, Daily morning briefing, Equity switching ideas, Weekly product presentations, Initial Public Offerings and Placements, Daily Relationship Managers and Investment Counsellors enquiries, clients' calls and meetings
Experience in equity investment and the ability to derive equity recommendations in multiple countries including United States, Europe and Greater China
Excellent communication skill is necessary as the specialist often has to present complex financial concepts and strategies in a simple form
Solid sales and marketing skills
Strong knowledge in business computer applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
A bachelor or graduate degree is required
The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting. Subject to local laws, this will require the individual to satisfactorily pass a series of additional checks as part of the recruitment process and on an ongoing basis, if appointed to the role.
