Associate Director, Business Manager - Global Private Banking

Location: Asia Pacific-Hong Kong-Hong Kong Island-Central

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Associate Director, Business Management Support.
Principal responsibilities
  • Responsible for providing business management support on product development and management, risk and control, and business projects to the Investment Services and Product Solutions of the Private Bank to execute its strategies and plans effectively and efficiently
  • Investment product coverage includes Fixed Income, Equities, Foreign Exchange, Structured Products, Long only Fund, Discretionary Programmes, Private Equity, Hedged Fund and Real Estate
  • Work closely with product specialists, investment counsellor and other support or control functions, including Legal, Compliance, Operations, Risk, Business Risk and Control Manager, Sales Quality Team, to ensure the Investment Services and Product Solutions team is operating in a risk and control compliant environment
  • Strong focus in the aspect of risk and control with identification and assessment of risks related to Investment Solutions and Product Solutions activities and for the implementation of a robust and effective control framework
  • Work closely with members of the Investment Solutions and Product Solutions Business Management Team to support the development and management of new products or services and to assist with the delivery of business strategy and reporting


  • Extensive working experiences within private banking, investment banking or asset management
  • Strong understanding of investment products and services
  • Good knowledge in the latest regulatory regime or requirement
  • Highly organised with attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of Front to Back processes
  • Highly adaptable with an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Experiences in product management and control, process reengineering and project management
  • Problem solver and strong team member
  • Able to communicate or work with different stakeholders
  • Autonomy, independent, prioritization skills, ability to work under pressure
  • Strong sense of compliance and risk culture
