Financial Crime Compliance aligns current activities within Global Risk and helps to build these into a more integrated framework to conduct Customer Due Diligence which enables HSBC to manage financial crime risk more effectively. It builds stronger controls to improve the way Financial Crime Compliance risks are managed in order to spot gaps as well as trends so that the team can take action. It proactively gathers and analyses financial intelligence in a smart way so that suspicious transactions, activities or connections can be identified and we can adequately protect our customers from the threat of financial crime.
We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Assistant Manager Financial Crime Compliance Assurance Support.
Principal responsibilities
  • To provide administration support to the Asia Pacific Regulatory and Financial Crime Compliance Assurance team and to coordinate and assist in the preparation of various functional reports and returns.
  • To undertake the administration for the Asia Pacific Regulatory and Financial Crime Compliance Assurance Assurance Department. Continuous monitoring of department travel expenses, stationery, attendance records, review schedule, training records
  • To arrange for the fulfillment of information requests generated by Global Assurance Team or other stakeholders.
  • Facilitating team travel, flights, hotels, visas etc.

Qualifications

Requirements
  • Prior Management Information and reporting experience
  • Excellent computer skills, especially in relation to producing Management Information and preparing reports
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience of working effectively within a small team
  • Proven ability to meet challenging deadlines
  • Good organisational, time management and prioritisation skills.
