Job Description

Supervisor, PR & Communications

Location: Hong Kong

Role and responsibilities:

  • Proactively develop an aggressive PR plan to ensure HK Express is No.1 in markets it operates;
  • Execute PR & CSR activities in HK and regional markets, analyze the diversifying media landscape and consumer behavior;
  • Responsible for all media relations, communications, media sponsorships and joint promotion programmes across the region;
  • Assist in developing effective corporate communications strategies and plans to achieve company's goals;
  • Cultivate strategic relationships with the local media, KOL and other key stakeholders in HK and regional markets for building top-of-mind brand awareness, maximizing brand exposure and driving positive media coverage on products and services;
  • Prepare and distribute press releases;
  • Formulate and implement strategic corporate social responsibility campaigns;
  • Work closely with HK Express Sales & Marketing Teams to ensure brand and message consistency;
  • Conceptualize, plan and execute events including new route launch campaigns, media events and familiarisation tours;
  • Ensure the PR agency delivers on;
  • Engage third parties for any partnership opportunities to sustain corporate brand awareness and to enhance corporate profile;
  • Prepare reports and ROI on activities undertaken;
  • A comprehensive understanding and readiness for Crisis Management & Communications;
  • Support ad-hoc projects as assigned.



  • Degree holder in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or Language related discipline;
  • Minimum 5-years experience, preferably in communications from aviation or travel / tourism sectors;
  • Significant knowledge and understanding of diversifying media landscape, consumer behavior and the market trends;
  • Strong media network and relationship;
  • Solid experience in event planning and coordination;
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese;
  • Creative and versatile, proactive and independent, strong communication and presentation skills;
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Chinese Word Processing;
  • Willingness to travel and work outside office hours.
