Job Description

Supervisor, Internal Communications

Location: Hong Kong

Role and responsibilities:

  • Proactively develop an aggressive internal communications strategy in conjunction with management; 
  • Ensure organizational initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to employees;
  • Conceptualize, plan and execute staff events or CSR campaigns;
  • Prepare and distribute internal communication, such as staff newsletters or articles;
  • Work closely with HK Express Marketing and PR & Communications teams to ensure brand and message consistency;
  • Be the first point of contact for internal communication enquires and requests for advice; 
  • Handle the internal communication response to crisis situations which affect Company's perception and reputation;
  • Build and deliver training programmes on Company's mission & vision, policy and procedures;
  • Support new staff orientation; 
  • Prepare Company announcements and new staff announcements;
  • Prepare meeting agenda and meeting minutes; 
  • Support ad-hoc duties as assigned. 

Qualifications:

  • Degree holder in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or Language related discipline;
  • Minimum 5-years communications experience, preferably in multicultural organization and/or from aviation or travel / tourism sectors;
  • Solid experience in event planning and coordination;
  • Strong digital communication skills; 
  • Solid experience of successfully influencing staff at all levels within an organization; 
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English, Chinese language skills will be an advantage;
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Chinese Word Processing.

  • Creative and versatile, proactive and independent, strong communication and presentation skills;
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
