Job Description

Officer, Infrastructure

Location: Hong Kong

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1st line technical support, answer queries from end users;
  • Determine the nature of faults and the steps required to rectify them;
  • Maintain and Support Active Directory and O365 Email infrastructure;
  • Maintain Inventory and System records;
  • Write progress and statistical reports for supervisors and managers;
  • Use remote control software tools to provide fault resolution and diagnosis;
  • Provide support for both Windows and MAC PCs and maintain software applications, databases, operating systems and regular maintenance on those PCs;
  • Write and maintain user how-to and manuals; document and maintain Help Desk policies and procedures;
  • Analyse existing business systems and identify options for database implementations and data mining;
  • Liaise extensively with external or internal partners for business systems and database requirements;
  • Oversee the implementation of new system and databases, and provide training to users;
  • Set-up/install and provide support of equipment in Microsoft Windows environments;
  • Troubleshoot and resolve computer and communications related issues by providing both on-site and remote support;
  • Ensure that a high level of customer service and support is provided to all internal and external customers;
  • Perform basic administrative support duties as required;
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.


  • Degree holder or above;
  • Minimum 1 year relevant IT/database/system administration hands-on experience;
  • Must be Microsoft MCP certified with Active Directory Administration and Virtualization skill a plus;
  • Strong Microsoft Windows/Office/SQL skills are desired;
  • Good problem solving skills along with the ability to work independently in an environment that undergoes constant change;
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills in Chinese and English;
  • Aviation experience is a plus.
