Manager, U-FLY Solutions

Location: Hong Kong

Role and responsibilities:

  • Act as a subject matter expert in the implementation of our systems architecture framework;
  • Identify and source appropriate decision-support IT tools;
  • Prepare and implement written departmental processes and procedures;
  • Develop new products, technologies and business models for the business units and alliance partners and drive these projects through to delivery;
  • Work with the Solution Architect team to design and implement key solutions to the business and the alliance partners;
  • Provide overall direction, guidance and definition of the systems and service implementations to effectively support business strategy;
  • Ensure solutions developed across the organization are implemented in line with the common architecture standards and principles;
  • Provide implementation oversight of projects; ensure requirements are in alignment with key business strategies;
  • Assist in the scoping, design and implementation of core systems and solutions for the alliance partner that will simplify alliance and carrier operations, interactions and supportability;
  • Collaborate across business units and alliance partners to both find opportunities for and showcase ideas in the Innovation and emerging business pipeline: working closely with developers and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction;
  • Conduct analysis to determine best path for solving business problems/opportunities that may include process improvement, systems enhancement, user training, and/or software procurement;
  • Drive the systems integration, implementation and reporting to management on key strategic projects;
  • Ad-hoc duties as assigned.


  • Degree holder or above;
  • Minimum 10 years relevant Systems or Technical Implementation Experience;
  • Experience working in highly regulated, multiple jurisdiction environments, International Air Travel industry a significant advantage;
  • Extensive experience in planning and deploying both business and IT initiatives;
  • Ability to work independently in an environment that undergoes constant change.
