Job Description

Manager, Infrastructure

Location: Hong Kong

Role and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the daily operations and performance, availability, recoverability, and security of the organization's infrastructure;
  • Contribute to the design and improvement of the infrastructure of the corporation;
  • Oversee the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of server hardware and operating systems, LAN and WAN, email systems, security administration and policies, and cloud computing operating environments;
  • Develop and manage effective working relationships with customers, share information where appropriate, and integrate activities with other business areas to ensure the successful implementation of business solutions; 
  • Manage assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives;
  • Ensure project tasks are completed in a timely manner and customer satisfaction remains high on KPI's;
  • Define and manage Disaster Recovery Strategy for organization;
  • Oversee operational costs, conduct near along with long-term financial estimates for expanded functionality and user base;
  • Ensure to practice asset management practices inclusive of component inventory maintenance and associated documentation;
  • Ensure that budgets are adhered to and deadlines met;
  • Evaluate performance and make recommendations for personnel actions; motivate employees to achieve peak productivity and performance to reach their short and long-term goals;
  • Troubleshoot and resolve computer and communications related issues when contacted by business units by providing both on-site and remote support;
  • Respond to inquiries from staff, administrators, service providers, site personnel and outside vendors and etc. to provide technical assistance and support;
  • Supervise the administration of systems and services related to our network to ensure availability of services to authorized users;
  • Provide training to users of a new system, writes and maintains user manuals;
  • Liaise extensively with external or internal partners and vendors;
  • Ad-hoc duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor's Degree in related area (strongly preferred);
  • At least 6 years relevant working experience preferably with background in aviation industry;
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills in English including experience reviewing, updating, and conveying best practices, policies, standards, and guidelines, ability to communicate highly technical items to persons and groups of all backgrounds inside and outside of the organization;
  • Microsoft, VMware, or Cisco certifications are preferred.

 Desirable Qualities:

  • Excellent organization and time management skills and experience managing large complex projects and tasks and coordinating efforts across different business groups;
  • Vendor Management competency;
  • Highly motivated by success but a team player;
  • Self-starter with multi-tasking capability and able to meet tight deadline;
  • Energetic and seeking a career building position;
  • Good command of written and spoken Chinese is preferred.
