Library Assistant III
The appointee is expected to participate in digitization projects in the Special Collections and Archives Section of the Library.
Applicants should have completed secondary education, with at least 5 passes in HKCEE including English Language (at least Grade C if Syllabus A / Level 2 from 2007) and Chinese Language (at least Level 2 from 2007), or at least 5 subjects attaining Level 2 in HKDSE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics plus minimum one year of related digitization experience preferred. Good computer skills and knowledge in Chinese and English word-processing and spreadsheets are required. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, and preferably be fluent in Putonghua. Service-oriented work attitude as well as ability to participate well in team work are essential. Knowledge in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, digitization, file management and use of high-end book scanner will be an advantage.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
