ACADEMIC COMMUNITY HALL
The appointee is required to assist the Assistant Manager (Administration) of the Academic Community Hall ("AC Hall") to provide overall administrative support for the venues managed by AC Hall, and the implementation of the Cultural Literacy Programme which is a university-wide arts and culture programme.
Main duties include: (i) to liaise with internal and external hirers, and provide professional advice when necessary; (ii) as the duty manager of internal events held in the venues; (iii) to guide and supervise Administrative Assistants, cleaners and/or student helpers; (iv) to assist in marketing and event promotion, (v) to prepare reports; and (vi) to perform any other duties as assigned. Shift duty, irregular working hours, and working on weekends and/or public holidays will be required.
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree, preferably with three years of relevant experience. Good communication and interpersonal skills, strong sense of responsibility, self-motivated, ability to work as a team, willingness to take up extra responsibilities are essential attributes. They should also have good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Putonghua is a plus). Proficiency in computer applications (particularly MS Office) is required. Applicants with less qualification or experience will be considered for the post of Administrative Assistant.
Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
