Job Description

Assistant Officer

Reporting to the Assistant Manager, the appointee will be responsible for (a) administering the daily operations of the university-managed off-campus student hostel; (b) monitoring the service and operation of the out-sourced catering outlet; (c) liaising with internal and external users; (d) handling enquiries and complaints; (e) drafting of minutes, reports and correspondences; (f) procurement and inventory maintenance; and (g) performing other duties as assigned. Work in the evenings / on the weekends may be required occasionally.

Applicants should have at least a Bachelor's degree, and some work experience in relation to property management or student affairs at tertiary institutions will definitely be an advantage. The suitable candidate should have excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) and proficiency in computer application. They should also be self-motivated with positive work attitude. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under tight schedule and pressure are essential.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
