Job Description

Ramp Equipment Officer (Operations Support)

Location: Chep Lak Kok



  • To lead a team of staff to deliver two core functions under RE, namely Quality Assurance and Business Analysis
  • Quality Assurance includes:
    • Carrying out departmental internal audit on safety, quality and compliance
    • Liaising with external and internal entities on all audits
    • Being responsible for the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) including the setup and ongoing maintenance & update of it
    • Investigating incidents such as MOR and IOR
    • Being responsible for RE Training Program
    • Designing and directing Induction Program of new joiners
    • Designing and carrying out recurrent and remedial training for members of RE including operators, check and trainers
    • Designing and directing RE internal examinations and assessments
  • Business Analysis includes:
    • Coordinating productivity improvement programs such as Centre-of-Excellence (CoE) implementation and any other Business Improvement initiatives
    • Analysing business unit financial performance including profit & loss
    • Coordinating any other ad-hoc projects as required
    • Being the focal for RE related data management and delay analysis & reporting
    • Taking charge of budgeting and workload forecasting
    • Taking lead in capital expenditure project
    • Taking lead of a small team to perform projects as assigned


  • Undergraduate degree in any disciplines
  • 8-year work experience, aviation or logistics industry background an advantage
  • Written and verbal English proficient, Chinese writing and Cantonese speaking a prerequisite
  • Good team player
