Job Description

Ramp Equipment Officer (Operations)

Location: Chep Lak Kok

  • To lead a team of duty-in-charge (DIC) to deliver core services such towing, pushback and other ground equipment services to aircraft whilst ensure safety compliance and meet departmental KPIs
  • To coordinate with Equipment Maintenance and Safety/Security Department to maximize available equipment in service and fulfill safety compliance
  • To produce daily operation report for management review
  • To foster team work, cooperation and communications across all main teams
  • To be in charge of manpower planning and rostering that is cost efficient
  • To develop and enhance and monitor compliance of company’s Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs), aviation authority regulations and customers’ requirements
  • To review department’s safety performances and provide recommendation for enhancement
  • To work with RE Development and Support to ensure smooth and complete implementation of initial, refresher and check-and-trainer training and other initiatives
  • To identify, develop and assess drivers and GSE operators that have high potential in further career progression and promotion
  • To conduct on-site accident/incident investigation and liaise with different parties and carry out incident reporting, investigation and provide corrective actions
  • To coach and train Duty In Charge

  • (1) Tertiary educated with minimum of 5 years’ work experience; or (2) Higher Diploma with minimum of 7 years’ work experience; (3) HKDSE / Form 5 or equivalent with minimum 9 years’ experience or 3 years’ experience as AO/AE/AMS
  • Any work experience in airlines, ground handling agent and MRO a clear advantage
  • Acquired Hong Kong Driving Licence (Class 1, 2, 18, 21, or 19) is an advantage
  • Good command of English, both spoken and written
  • Proficiency in Chinese writing and Cantonese speaking is essential
  • Proficiency in MS Powerpoint, Excel and Word
  • A proactive good team player
