Job Description

Material Management Specialist, Planning & Systems

Location: Chep Lak Kok

  • Take lead to document, maintain document master for support references and to coordinate / provide systems or application training / documentation to users as appropriate
  • Administrate review, prioritize and manage System Requests from MM sections / for MM owned systems and with alignment to departmental directives
  • Lead business process review, analyze user requirements and assess associated impact, recommend solution / enhancement / system integration with implementation plan to suit operational improvement
  • Liaise with IT and business users to translate business requirements into system requirements; document the requirements and coordinate with IT department for development
  • Manage KPI data calculation and validation, and publication of periodic KPI Reports
  • Identify and report deviation of project schedule, quality, limitation and coordinate with related parties for clarification and recommend possible improvements
  • Oversee production of respective statistics and advice of operational performance and enhance visibility of activities within MM supply chain
  • Oversee improvement projects and manage project progress with regular management updates to ensure on-time completion
  • Lead and develop junior team members
  • Formulate initiative, lead feasibility studies and recommend improvement plans to streamline / optimize existing processes
  • To oversee development of Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and facilitate related teams for operational set up, drill and operation support
  • Process user enquiries independently
  • Perform other relevant duties as assigned

  • Minimum 4 years relevant experience with a recognized bachelor degree / Higher Diploma in Business / Project / Logistics / Supply Chain Management or equivalent
  • Good problem-solving skill and interpersonal skill
  • Solid experience in MS Office Application (including Excel/Access)
  • Experience with VBA in Excel/Access is an advantage
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
