Job Description

Group IT Manager (Infrastructure & Operations)

Location: Chep Lak Kok

  • Lead the development and implementation of the Group IT Infrastructure Strategy
  • Lead the HAECO Group IT Policies development; align the Architectural Standards and Cyber Security Standards
  • Ensure the IT Infrastructure are built to support all business systems
  • Ensure IT Infrastructure and systems availability and responsiveness in accordance with agreed service levels and schedules
  • Ensure appropriate and dedicated focus on high severity incident management
  • Facilitate the development and implementation of effective and robust disaster recovery plans for HAECO
  • Facilitate the development and implementation of business continuity plans for IT
  • Ensure effective management of IT Infrastructure Facilities and Data Centres
  • Ensure effective management of Cloud based IT services
  • Proactively drive service delivery improvements
  • Collaborate with other IT Teams to drive business and technology innovation
  • Keep abreast of the corporate strategy, business plan and latest industrial trends

  • Technical degree holder with minimum of 12 years IT experience, at least 6 years of IT Infrastructure experience and 6 years of management experience
  • Proven experience of leading team, and be able to demonstrate effective coaching and mentoring style
  • Proven technical management and specialist experience of working in a complex IT infrastructure environment
  • Professional competency in at least one technical specialization, with broad understanding of other current and emerging technologies
  • Proven experience in managing a team of technology professionals (that include in-house, external, off-shore resources) to run strategic IT projects and support IT systems
  • Ability to listen and articulate ideas verbally and in written formats to a broad range of audiences; ability to ask probing questions and deliver presentations
  • Strong interpersonal skills; promoting healthy relationships and team dynamics
  • Well-developed analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, leveraging both logic and creativity; strong troubleshooting skills; ability to identify patterns and generate ideas
  • Good understanding of technology concepts, trends and capabilities
