Job Description

A HR Compliance job for a leading retail bank to drive all their HR Compliance initiatives.

Your new company
We are currently partnering with a leading retail bank with a very strong brand and they have been growing steadily over the years. This organisation is also known for their healthy corporate culture, they are looking for a HR Compliance, Senior Manager to join their growing and dynamic team.

Your new role
This position reports into the Deputy Head of HR. Your focus will be to oversee the risk and compliance matters related to HR and this will include working as a focal point to partner with different HR teams to implement HR policies and procedures ensuring that they are in compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. You will also develop governance and control initiatives to address HR risk and compliance matters, monitor operational risk working closely with internal and external control parties, manage internal reporting on risk and compliance as well as promoting risk and compliance culture. As a specialist, your responsibility will include conducting extensive research, recommend and develop strategies on addressing risk, compliance and legal matters with regards to HR issues and undertake any projects related to risk and compliance in the HR division.

What you'll need to succeed
To be qualified for this position, you must possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in any field
  • At least 8-10 years solid experience in HR risk and compliance particularly within the banking industry
  • Good knowledge of banking ordinance in relation to HR
  • Solid experience in planning and developing HR policies and procedures with the ability to drive projects with tight deadlines
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills as well as excellent attention to detail is required
